*OK so even I wouldn't touch a book after reading the title of that article (if you clicked through). However, if you read the whole article, rest assured you won't actually get ill or catch anything, which was the point I was trying to make...albeit not very well. "The professors assured everyone that concentrations of the virus were so minimal that there is no public health risk and it would be impossible for people to contract it by touching the book" (Roy, 2013, para. 3). Good researchers would consult the primary research article mentioned in this TIME article, but I'm too busy washing my hands to look that up. Gross.

Also, we don't own a copy of Fifty Shades of Grey at Twin Cities Library.

Happy New Year and great news! Twin Cities Library has subscribed to a new education database - EBSCO Education Source! EBSCO Education Source is the world's largest collection of full text education journals and it is fully integrated into SuperSearch. Education Source adds to our collection:

• 1,800 full text journals
• 550 full text books and monographs
• Numerous full text education-related conference papers
• Citations for over 5 million more articles, including book reviews

Please note: Twin Cities Library compared Education Source to ProQuest Education Journals and discovered that Education Source has more full text journals, unique titles, and compatibility with SuperSearch. Consequently, Twin Cities Library replaced ProQuest Education Journals with EBSCO Education Source. After January 1, 2014, ProQuest Education Journals is longer be available.
