Follow Wangari Maathai as she recounts her incredible life journey from rural Kenya to the stage of the Nobel Prize ceremony in Oslo.  The first African woman to ever win a Nobel Peace Prize, she is also the founder of the Green Belt Movement - an environmental effort that works to save Kenya’s forests and protect democracy.
